The area surrounding the tea rooms is set in beautiful countryside, and as such, is a walkers/ramblers delight.

There are numerous recognised walks around the area which take in delights such as Cheddleton Flint Mill, Churnet Valley Railway, The Peak District, The Caldon Canal, Deep Hayes & Rudyard Lake.

There are numerous 'official' walks dotted throughout the area, but there is also ample opportunity to go off the 'beaten track'. Visit the 'Links' page for some suggested routes.
